An iconic British sports / racer from the golden age of motoring.
The MG TA was first produced in 1936 and was, to many, the definitive British Sports car of the era prior to World War II.
Not a sports car at all, The Somerset was a family saloon car that supplanted the Austin Devon in 1954 and could tear up the roads at a blistering 69 mph. It became a common sight on British roads as more families became car owners. There was also a convertible version available.
Though not exactly a vintage car, the Exige represents the current crop of British Sports cars.

Another example of the current crop of sports cars, the Elise is popular not only in the UK but around the world.

A Lotus Exige rounds the first corner during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. A yearly event, this celebration of all things motorized gives drivers a chance to test their machines against one another and the clock.
